What we know about you, and why
A short, honest account of what we know about you and why, per the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The data we hold
- name, delivery address, phone number and email, because a parcel cannot be addressed without them
- a record of your orders, kept so support questions can be answered
- the content of your messages, stored alongside the relevant order
- basic technical data from the site, such as the pages loaded and general location, used to keep the site working
Nothing about how you paid is stored on this site. Approval is done on your device and we receive a result, not a credential.
What we do with it
Delivery, after-sales support and legal record-keeping. That is all it is for.
No personal data leaves here for marketing purposes, paid or otherwise.
Sharing
- the courier, who gets the delivery details and nothing else
- the technical providers hosting the site and handling its email
- a public authority, where the law obliges us to disclose
Keeping and deleting
Order data is retained for as long as accounting and tax rules in India require. Messages that are not tied to an order are deleted after resolution.
Your say over it
Ask us what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted where the law does not require us to retain it. care@prepkitchengear.shop is the address for such requests.
The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to order data is limited to the people who fulfil orders.
